Moment Marketing

In recent time "Moment Marketing" is taking over the traditional methods of marketing since it helps brands reach their target audience in quick time and at a minimal cost. In this marketing form, the brands uses the current trends around the world that are getting more attention and personalize those with the product or service they provide. Although it sounds like a fairly new concepts but brand like Amul has been doing this type of marketing for the past 54 years. Every time a significant event takes place in India, Amul is quick to grab it and is able to create an advert or a commercial revolving around that event. This helps the brands to establish a relationship with the consumer based on their interests, thoughts and preferences.


The most recent example of Moment Marketing is when Paytm used the most trending meme in India "Rasode mein kaun tha" and turned it into an advertisement warning the users about how imposters are trying to get the information about their bank account through a fake KYC application. The advertisement got a good response since it inculcated the viral meme and also warned people on how to be safe from fraudsters.
